Vicenza Chair

The Vicenza Chair is an Al Fresco dining arm chair with a crisp, modern Japanese-inspired line. A solid teak frame forms a low, curved back rail that sweeps forward into slim arms, and a seat of twisted hyacinth polystrap adds a hand-woven texture. Straight, slender legs and the open back keep the chair visually light, so a full terrace still feels uncluttered.

Finish the teak in black, natural or walnut brown (walnut brown is for indoor use only), and choose a black or natural woven seat. An optional seat cushion, with optional quick dry foam, adds softness for longer meals. The Vicenza moves comfortably between indoor dining rooms and outdoor patios, giving a project one chair for both settings.

Built for commercial use

Teak is a wood suited to outdoor use, and the woven polystrap and outdoor fabrics are made for year-round exposure; Al Fresco outdoor products are UV-resistant. The frame is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery, like almost all of our wood seating. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, ships fully assembled from the factory, and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. When a cushion is specified, its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
