Winston Chair with Upholstered Seat Pad

The Winston Chair with Upholstered Seat Pad takes our spindle-back Winston and adds a cushioned pad to the solid wood seat. A curved crest rail wraps around the back on a row of slender spindles, the legs splay gently outward and are tied together with stretchers, and the upholstered pad sits inset on the wood seat so the frame still frames it on all sides.

Shown in a walnut-toned finish with a dark pad, it pairs the warmth of a Windsor-style chair with extra comfort for longer meals, which makes it a good fit for bistros, hotel restaurants, club dining rooms and wine bars. The frame can be specified in American walnut, American white oak, ash or beech, and the pad in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM. Built for commercial use

The Winston is built in solid wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light walnut stain, ashwood with dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from ivories and grays to cognacs, tobaccos and distressed finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues, greens and warm accent colors.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.
