Colver Chair

The Colver Chair is a compact, industrial-style side chair that pairs a slim metal frame with a solid beech seat and back. The back is a single curved wood panel carried on two upright metal posts, and the legs are tied together low by a round ring and stretchers, a look that reads equal parts workshop and neighborhood bistro.

The beech is finished in a dark walnut tone that warms up the dark metal frame and deepens with daily use into the kind of patina that makes a room feel established. The Colver is offered only as shown, which makes it quick to specify, and it is part of our quick ship program, so it is in stock and ready to go when an opening date is close. At just over 17" wide, it fits tight two-tops, café rows and long runs along a banquette.

Built for commercial use

The metal frame is welded, not bolted, so there are no fasteners to work loose under daily restaurant use. The Colver is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
