Elaine Bar Stool

The Elaine Bar Stool is a classic ladder-back bar stool with a slightly taller, more stately back. A stack of gently curved horizontal slats rises between straight rear posts, creating an open back that is easy to grab and move, and a padded upholstered seat sits on four square legs braced with stretchers on every side for footrests and strength.

The frame is solid European beech, offered in stains from natural and maple to cherry, mahogany, walnut and ebony, and the seat is upholstered in faux leather or COM. The Elaine Bar Stool is in our quick ship program, so it can ship within days for openings and replacements, and it coordinates with the Elaine chairs for a consistent look from the bar to the dining room.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Elaine is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The stool ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option E): stains on solid European beech, including walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): a wide range of Classic, Jackson and Glaze series faux leathers, from warm neutrals and saddle browns to deep reds, blues and greens. COM is accepted (minimums may apply).

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage for your material. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains what to look for.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
