Elaine Chair with Wood Seat

The Elaine Chair with Wood Seat is the all-wood version of our classic ladder-back dining chair. Gently curved horizontal slats run between the rear posts, which flow in a single line down to the floor, and a solid wood seat sits on square legs braced with stretchers. The look is warm, traditional and uncomplicated, and the wood seat makes it easy to wipe down between seatings.

The frame is solid European beech, a dense hardwood that takes stain evenly, offered in finishes from natural and maple to cherry, mahogany, walnut and ebony. Like the upholstered Elaine, it is part of our quick ship program for fast delivery, and it pairs with the Elaine Chair and Elaine Bar Stool so a dining room and bar can share one look.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Elaine is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
