Elliott Chair

The Elliott Chair is a lean, modern dining chair that mixes a slender steel frame with solid wood. Four straight steel legs hold a squared solid wood seat, and two thin steel uprights rise behind it to carry a curved wood back panel. The open, graphic silhouette has a relaxed workshop character that looks sharp in black or white and playful in a custom powder coat color.

The wood seat and back are offered in oak, ash, walnut, beech and teak, so the Elliott can lean warm and natural or dark and moody. Specified with teak slats, it can be used outdoors on patios and terraces. It coordinates with the Elliot Bar Stool and the upholstered Elliott models for a consistent look indoors and out.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment. For outdoor use, specify teak, since other wood species should not be used outdoors.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of powder coats, from our Color Finish Series (matte or gloss black, white, charcoal, reds, blues, greens, yellows and more) to Metal Finish Series options like matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, natural ash, antiqued ash and American walnut. For outdoor use, specify teak.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
