Gabrielle Chair

The Gabrielle Chair is a softly tailored barrel-back dining arm chair with a solid wood frame. A rounded, fully upholstered back wraps around the seat to form low arms, and the whole upholstered body appears to float on a refined wood base with slim, tapered legs. Exposed wood at the front of the arms and along the frame adds a crafted, furniture-quality detail.

The enclosing back and generous 19.25" x 18" seat make the Gabrielle comfortable for long dinners, and its compact 22" width still fits well at the table. It is equally at home in a fine dining room, a hotel restaurant or a lobby lounge, and it is part of both our Steakhouse and Lobby & Lounge collections. It is also available with an optional stretcher.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Gabrielle is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light walnut stain, ashwood with dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Upholstery: Leather Option A (a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers), Faux Leather Option B (standard and deluxe faux leathers), Fabric Option A (commercial fabrics, tweeds and textures in many colors), or COM (minimums may apply). Send us your COM selection and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
