Ostia Arm Chair

The Ostia Arm Chair is part of our Al Fresco line, combining a crisp, rectilinear powder coated steel frame with a woven rope seat back and solid teak wood arm caps. The rope back is stretched within a squared frame for a tailored, contemporary look, while the teak arms add natural warmth where hands rest.

A thick upholstered seat cushion, available with optional quick dry foam, makes the Ostia comfortable for long outdoor meals. The woven rope is offered in white, black, grey or taupe, and the frame comes in smooth or textured powder coats, with Sunbrella and other outdoor-rated fabrics for the cushion. The result is a refined, resort-ready chair that feels at home on hotel terraces, rooftop restaurants and pool decks.

Built for commercial use

The Ostia's steel frame is welded, not bolted, and as an Al Fresco product it is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use; its solid teak arms are suited to outdoor settings. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Woven rope: white, black, grey or taupe.

Arms: solid teak.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
