Shannon Chair with Wood Seat

The Shannon Chair with Wood Seat is an all-wood take on the Shannon, a traditional dining side chair with a tall back of vertical slats under a softly curved crest rail. The frame and seat are solid European beech, set on square legs joined by stretchers, for a warm, honest look that suits pubs, taverns and family restaurants.

The shaped wood seat is easy to wipe down between turns, which makes it a practical choice for busy dining rooms and high-volume service. It belongs to our coordinating chair and stool program and pairs with the Shannon Chair with Upholstered Seat and the Shannon Stool with Upholstered Seat, so you can carry one look from the dining room to the bar.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Shannon is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
