Billy Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Billy Chair with Upholstered Seat is a classic restaurant side chair with a traditional vertical slat back. Five slender slats run between the rear posts up to a softly curved top rail, a familiar design that feels right in family restaurants, pubs, diners and casual hotel dining rooms. The padded upholstered seat adds comfort for longer meals and makes cleanup simple with faux leather.

The frame is European beech, a dense hardwood that takes stain evenly, offered in stains from natural and maple to walnut, mahogany and ebony. Seats come in our Classic, Jackson and Glaze faux leathers or COM. This chair is in our quick ship program, and it coordinates with the Billy Chair with Wood Seat and the Billy Bar Stool.

Built for commercial use

The Billy is built from solid European beech with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory with a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): a large palette from our Classic, Jackson and Glaze faux leather series.

COM/COL: accepted (minimums may apply).

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
