Enya Chair

The Enya Chair is an all-steel outdoor arm chair from our Al Fresco Collection. Its back and arms are formed from a single sweep of thin steel wire bent into an open diamond lattice, so the chair looks light and airy even in a dark finish. Four slender, slightly splayed legs keep the silhouette clean, and an optional quick dry foam seat cushion adds comfort for longer meals.

The open wirework lets breezes and light pass through, which keeps a crowded patio from feeling heavy, and the curved, wraparound back gives a gentle hug at the shoulders. Steel is finished in a choice of textured and smooth powder coat colors, and the cushion can be upholstered in Sunbrella and other fabrics. Use the Enya on hotel terraces, rooftop bars and courtyard dining, or bring it indoors for a garden-room look.

Built for commercial use

The Enya's steel frame is welded, not bolted, and the chair ships fully assembled from the factory. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Al Fresco outdoor products are UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use, and the foam and upholstery of the optional cushion meet CAL TB 117-2013. Coverage includes a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish Option D): white, taupe gray, black and anthracite bronze in textured finishes, and white, Prima 2 white, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel and black satin in smooth finishes.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella fabrics plus Aprohdite and Cartenza fabrics in a range of colors.

For commercial use, specify fabrics rated at 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM is accepted, and Designform will provide the yardage. Read more in our upholstery double rubs guide.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
