Erin Chair

The Erin Chair is a traditional bistro side chair with a European beech frame and an upholstered seat. Its back is framed by a softly curved crest rail and solid side posts, with an inset panel that cradles the shoulders, while four tapered legs are tied together with low side stretchers for a sturdy, familiar stance. Specify it with a wood seat or an upholstered seat to suit the room.

The Erin's clean, classic lines let it slip into almost any dining room, from steakhouses and hotel restaurants to clubhouse grills and banquet rooms. It coordinates with the matching Erin Bar Stool, so the dining room and bar can share one look. Nine wood stains and three faux leather families give plenty of room to match a scheme, and COM is welcome. It is in stock in our quick ship program for projects on a short timeline.

Built for commercial use

The Erin is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, like almost all of our wood products. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery on upholstered versions meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): a wide range of Classic, Jackson and Glaze series faux leathers in neutrals, earth tones and saturated colors.

COM: accepted, minimums may apply.

For commercial use, specify fabrics rated at 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and Designform will provide the yardage. See our upholstery double rubs guide.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
