About the Holden Chair
The Holden Chair is a cantilever side chair with a continuous chrome plated steel tube that runs from the floor up through the seat and back, leaving the chair with no rear legs. Solid wood frames hold woven cane panels in the seat and back, giving it a classic modernist look that pairs gleaming metal with warm, natural texture.
The cantilever frame gives the seat a slight, comfortable flex, and the open cane keeps the chair visually light in a busy room. It is a timeless fit for bistros, cafes and modern dining rooms, and it coordinates with the Holden Arm Chair.

Built for commercial use
The chrome plated steel frame is welded, not bolted, and the cane panels are set into solid wood frames for durability. The Holden is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, ships fully assembled from the factory, and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
