Oxford Chair

The Oxford Chair is an all-aluminum side chair with a classic windowpane back. A grid of rectangular openings fills the upper back between two straight rear posts, and a gently contoured solid seat sits on four straight legs braced by side stretchers. The look is crisp and timeless, with a nod to traditional cafe and marine-style chairs.

Shown in a bright aluminum finish, the Oxford is light enough to move and rearrange easily, and its aluminum frame makes it usable outdoors as well as indoors. That versatility lets you carry one chair from the dining room to the patio. At just 16" wide, it is one of our more compact chairs, ideal for tight cafe layouts and sidewalk seating. It coordinates with the Oxford Stool for bar and counter seating.

Built for commercial use

The Oxford's aluminum frame is welded, not bolted, for strength without excess weight. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
