Sprint Grand Arm Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Sprint Grand Arm Chair with Upholstered Seat is the roomier version of our Sprint arm chair. A slim steel frame forms the legs, back posts and arms, with wood caps on the arm rests and a tall, curved wood veneer back that wraps the shoulders. The upholstered seat adds comfort and a chance to introduce color, leather or a textured fabric.

At 24.5" wide, it offers a more generous seat than a standard schoolhouse chair while keeping the same clean, utilitarian character. It stacks, so it is practical for rooms that change setups. Built for commercial use

The Sprint Grand Arm Chair with Upholstered Seat has a steel frame that is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks for storage and clearing floor space. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Metal frame (Metal Finish B): powder coat in matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic onyx, ivory and chestnut to richer and distressed tones such as cognac, bourbon, emerald and harbor blue.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad range of wovens, tweeds and textured fabrics in neutrals and color, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use, specify fabrics rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
