Valencia Chair

The Valencia Chair is an Al Fresco dining arm chair that blends a solid teak base with a woven rope shell. The rope weave wraps the back and flows forward into the arms in one soft, enveloping form, while four square teak legs give it a grounded, natural footing. The contrast of dark woven rope against warm teak feels tailored and resort-ready.

A seat cushion with optional quick dry foam adds comfort and sheds water quickly outdoors. Specify the teak frame in black, natural or walnut brown (walnut brown is for indoor use only), and choose from Sunbrella and other outdoor-grade fabrics for the cushion. The Valencia works on terraces and patios, and it is just as handsome indoors in a sunroom or garden-facing dining room.

Built for commercial use

The Valencia's base is solid teak, a wood suited to outdoor use, and the woven rope and outdoor-grade fabrics are made for year-round exposure; Al Fresco outdoor products are UV-resistant. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Teak (frame): black, natural or walnut brown finish. The walnut brown finish is for indoor use only.

Cushions (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella and other outdoor-grade fabrics, with optional quick dry foam.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
