Fallerna Chair

The Fallerna Chair is an outdoor dining arm chair from our Al Fresco Collection, built on a solid teak frame with a woven rope back. Clean, squared teak legs rise into flat arms, and the back is wrapped in thick rope cording woven in an open crisscross pattern that is both supportive and breathable. An optional quick dry foam seat cushion adds comfort for long lunches and late dinners.

The mix of honey-toned teak and soft rope gives the Fallerna a relaxed, resort feel that suits terraces, pool decks and rooftop restaurants. Teak is available in black, natural or walnut brown, and the rope comes in white, grey, black or taupe, so it is easy to tune to a coastal, modern or earthy palette. The cushion can be upholstered in Sunbrella and other fabrics.

Built for commercial use

The Fallerna's teak frame is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, like almost all of our wood products. Teak is rated for outdoor use, and Al Fresco outdoor products are made for year-round outdoor use. Note that the walnut brown teak finish is for indoor use only. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, the optional cushion's foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. Coverage includes a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame: solid teak in black, natural or walnut brown finish (walnut brown for indoor use only).

Rope: white, grey, black or taupe.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella fabrics plus Aprohdite and Cartenza fabrics in a range of colors.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
