The Emily Chair is a soft, contemporary dining chair with a sculpted, rounded shell. The seat and back flow together into a single upholstered form that curves gently around the sitter, with a subtle seam where the seat meets the back. Four slender steel legs, angled slightly outward, keep the base minimal and let the upholstered shell take center stage.
The Emily works beautifully in fabrics like the textured gray shown, as well as in velvets, leathers and faux leathers, and its steel frame can be powder coated in a wide range of colors and metallic finishes. With a generous 20" seat width, it offers lounge-like comfort at the dining table, making it a strong choice for upscale restaurants, hotel dining and private dining rooms.
The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
With a 20" width, allow about 24–26" per seat along a table edge. Our restaurant seating layout guide covers clearances and aisle widths.
Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of powder coats, from our Color Finish Series (matte or gloss black, white, charcoal, reds, blues, greens, yellows and more) to Metal Finish Series options like matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.
Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage and pebbled finishes in browns, greens, blues, grays and black.
