Encore Chair (stitched and tufted)

The Encore Chair brings supper-club glamour to the dining table. A curved, enveloping upholstered back wraps around a deep cushioned seat, finished with button tufting or an optional stitched pattern on the back. Below, four tapered solid wood legs rise into a welded steel seat base, tied together by a round metal stretcher ring and finished with metal ferrules, in black or brushed brass. The mix of dark upholstery, warm wood and brass shown in the product photo is classic steakhouse styling.

An optional swivel seat lets guests turn easily at banquettes, chef's counters and game tables. The Encore Chair coordinates with the Encore Stool for a matched look at the bar and in the dining room, and it is part of our Steakhouse collection.

Built for commercial use

The Encore combines a welded steel seat base with solid wood legs for a sturdy, long-lasting frame. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood legs (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Metal: black or brushed brass seat base, stretcher and ferrules.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides in rich browns, greens and reds.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers, from classic black, white and tan to vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad palette of standard and performance fabrics, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs. COM is accepted.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage for your material. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains what to look for.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
