Gramercy Arm Chair

The Gramercy Arm Chair pairs a solid wood frame with a fully upholstered seat and back for a dining chair that feels tailored and inviting. Slim arms flow forward from the rear legs and float beside the seat, keeping the profile open while giving guests a place to settle in through a long dinner. Black or brushed brass metal detailing adds a refined accent.

Offered in American walnut, white oak, ash or beech with leather, faux leather, fabric or COM, the Gramercy suits steakhouses, hotel restaurants and private dining rooms equally well. Pair it with the Gramercy Stool to carry the same look to the bar.

Built for commercial use

The Gramercy is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash and European beech, plus walnut-stained beech, light and dark walnut-stained ash and black painted open-pore ash.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides in deep browns, greens and reds.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, earth tones, blues and greens.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM/COL: customer's own material is welcome, and we will provide the yardage.

Metal detail: black or brushed brass.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
