Lennon Task Chair

The Lennon Task Chair brings mid-century craftsmanship to a working chair. A sculpted solid wood top rail curves around the back and extends forward into the arms, floating above a steel frame on casters, with an upholstered seat below. The combination of warm wood, slim metal and color makes it feel more like a design piece than an office chair.

The seat height adjusts from 18" to 22.5", so the Lennon can work at desks, host stands and workstations of different heights. It is a natural choice for hotel business centers, offices and reception desks where a task chair needs to look as good as the rest of the room.

Built for commercial use

The Lennon has a welded steel frame. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish Option A): a wide palette of powder coat colors from the Color Finish Series in matte or gloss, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper and rust patina. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): American walnut, oak, European beech, teak (unfinished or oiled), natural ash, and ash in chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry, antiqued and medium brown stains.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in sand, rust, blues, teal, fern green, black and goldenrod, plus performance fabrics rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a range of faux leathers in warm browns, blacks, greys, blues and teals, including vintage and deluxe textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage required. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more detail.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
