The Lewis High Back Stool combines an industrial steel frame with a solid wood seat and a rounded solid wood back. The oval back panel is held by a looping steel frame that curves around it, and the stool stands on four tapered legs tied together with stretchers that double as footrests, giving it a vintage café look with plenty of character.
The tall back offers real support at the bar, and the contrast of wood against powder-coated or metal finishes can lean rustic, coastal or bold. It is available at bar and counter heights and coordinates with the Lewis Side Chair and backless Lewis Stool for a consistent look across a whole venue.
The Lewis has a welded steel frame rather than bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
