Lucera Chair with Metal Base (Stitched or Tufted)

The Lucera Chair with Metal Base (Tufted) sets the Lucera's rounded, wrapping shell on a slim steel base. The upholstered back curves softly around the sitter and flares at the shoulders, and button tufting across its face adds a quilted, softer texture. Below, thin steel legs joined by side stretchers keep the profile light, so the chair looks airy even in a full dining room.

The seat sits at 21.5" on a 15" x 17.25" cushion, and the chair is also offered in a stitched version. It coordinates with the Lucera wood-base chair and the Lucera bar and counter stools, which makes it easy to carry one design from dining tables to the bar. Specify it in fine leathers, faux leathers or commercial fabrics, or provide your own COM.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for a rigid base that holds up to busy service. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from onyx, ivory and chestnut to cognac, espresso and hunter green, plus a distressed series in tones like whiskey, bourbon and rust.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and golds.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
