The Lucera Stool with Metal Base (Stitched) brings the Lucera's sculpted shell up to bar and counter height. The upholstered seat and back form one rounded, gently wrapping piece, and vertical channel stitching runs up the back for a tailored, mid-century look. It sits on four slim steel legs with a footrest that rings the base, keeping the stool visually light along a long bar.
A roomy 17.5" x 17.75" seat and supportive back make it a stool guests settle into rather than perch on. It comes in bar and counter heights and in stitched or tufted versions, and it coordinates with the Lucera chairs and the wood-base Lucera stool. Upholster it in leather, faux leather or commercial fabric to suit the room.
The steel frame is welded rather than bolted for strength in high-traffic bars. The stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Use the bar height with 40–42" bar tops and the counter height with 36" counters, and allow about 24" per stool. Our bar vs. counter stool height guide and bar stool spacing guide have the details.
Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from onyx, ivory and chestnut to cognac, espresso and hunter green, plus a distressed series in tones like whiskey, bourbon and rust.
Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.
Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and golds.
For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.
