The Lucera Stool with Metal Base (Tufted) takes the rounded Lucera shell to bar and counter height and finishes it with button tufting across the back. The seat and back flow together in one soft, wrapping form that flares slightly at the shoulders, giving the stool a club-chair comfort that is rare at the bar. Four slender steel legs and a perimeter footrest keep the base light and open.
The 17.5" x 17.75" seat is generous, and the curved back gives real support through a long evening. Choose bar or counter height, and pair it with the Lucera chairs or the stitched and wood-base versions of the stool for a consistent look from dining room to bar. In a deep leather or faux leather the tufting reads classic and rich; in fabric it feels softer and more residential.
The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for a rigid stool that stands up to busy bars. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
