Luna Chair

The Luna Chair is an upholstered arm chair built around one graceful gesture: a padded band that forms the backrest and curves forward on each side to become the arms. That wraparound back floats above a cushioned seat on a slim tubular steel frame, so the chair feels enclosed and comfortable without looking heavy. The result is soft, modern and a little retro, at home in a dining room or a lobby.

A wide 22" x 19" seat and arms at 26.75" make the Luna a chair guests can relax into for a long dinner or a meeting. It has a matching Luna Stool for bars and counters. Specify it in fine leather, faux leather or fabric, and choose a custom powder coat color for the frame to tie it to your palette.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for strength and a clean look. The Luna Chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from onyx, ivory and chestnut to cognac, espresso and hunter green, plus a distressed series in tones like whiskey, bourbon and rust.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, greens and blues, including vintage, pebbled and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large library of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, in grays, browns, blues, greens, reds and golds.

Frame: custom powder coat color available.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Where it works

The Luna Chair works in hotel restaurants and lobbies, restaurants, private dining rooms and clubs and corporate spaces. It is part of our Steakhouse Collection. Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
