Maya Stool

The Maya Stool brings the classic cross back of our Maya Chair to bar height. Built on a European beech frame, it features two crossed slats forming a bold X beneath the top rail, over an upholstered seat. Tall straight legs are joined by stretchers at two levels, including a front footrest, for a sturdy, traditional bar stool that stands up to nightly service.

The farmhouse-inspired back feels right at home in taverns, wine bars and casual restaurants, and the beech takes a choice of nine stains from natural to ebony. A warm upholstered seat in faux leather or COM keeps guests comfortable through a long evening. It is in stock in our quick ship program and coordinates with the Maya Chair for matching dining room seating.

Built for commercial use

The Maya Stool is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): the Classic, Jackson and Glaze faux leather lines, offering more than a hundred colors.

For commercial upholstery we recommend specifying 75,000–100,000 double rubs; see our upholstery double rubs guide. COM and COL are accepted (minimums apply), and we will give you the yardage.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
