Megan Chair

The Megan Chair is a European beech dining chair with a window-pane back and an upholstered seat. Slim vertical and horizontal slats cross between the posts to form a neat grid of square openings, beneath a gently arched top rail. It is a timeless restaurant chair that brings a little architectural rhythm to a long row of tables.

The beech frame comes in nine stains, from natural and maple to mahogany and ebony, and the seat is upholstered in faux leather or COM. A rich mahogany frame with a neutral seat, as shown, feels classic and welcoming, and lighter stains give it a brighter cafe look. Built for commercial use

The Megan is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): the Classic, Jackson and Glaze faux leather lines, offering more than a hundred colors.

For commercial upholstery we recommend specifying 75,000–100,000 double rubs; see our upholstery double rubs guide. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
