Megan Stool

The Megan Stool brings the window-pane back of our Megan Chair to bar height. Its European beech frame has slim slats crossing to form a grid of square openings below the top rail, over an upholstered seat. Tall straight legs are tied together with stretchers at two levels, and the front footrest is fitted with a metal kick plate to protect the wood where guests rest their feet.

The beech is offered in a range of stains, from natural and maple to mahogany and ebony, and the seat is upholstered in faux leather or COM. A dark frame with a black seat, as shown, suits a classic bar; lighter stains feel more casual. The Megan Stool is in stock in our quick ship program and coordinates with the Megan Chair for the dining room.

Built for commercial use

The Megan Stool is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Stain Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Vinyl Option C): the Classic, Jackson and Glaze faux leather lines, offering more than a hundred colors.

For commercial upholstery we recommend specifying 75,000–100,000 double rubs; see our upholstery double rubs guide. COM and COL are accepted, and we will give you the yardage.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
