Seca Chair

The Seca Chair is a steel side chair with a solid wood slatted seat and a distinctive perforated back. The steel back panel rises in a gentle curve and is punched with a band of small holes near the top, a subtle industrial detail that also gives guests a natural place to grip the chair. Slim steel legs and a slatted wood seat complete a design that is clean, sturdy and quietly characterful.

Specify a teak seat and the Seca moves outdoors to patios and beer gardens; choose oak, ash or walnut for indoor dining rooms. Our full powder coat palette, including custom colors, lets it go bright and playful or dark and rugged. It coordinates with the matching Seca Stool and fits naturally into brewery, lodge and casual dining settings.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. For outdoor use, specify the teak seat; other wood species are for indoor use only. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Our full powder coat palette, including the Color Finish Series (soft grays and blues through bright reds, yellows, greens and aqua), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal, brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood seat (Wood Option A): Teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, ash, antiqued ash and American walnut. Only teak can be used outdoors.

The Seca Chair is shown in the project photos on this page at Bent Paddle Brewing in Duluth. It suits breweries and taprooms, restaurants and patios, and coffee shops. Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
