Tatum Stool

The Tatum Stool is a backless solid wood stool with a pared-back, Scandinavian sensibility. A round seat with a softly rounded edge sits on three slender, slightly splayed legs, joined by a slim metal ring foot rest. The Tatum's woven cane seat adds natural texture and a touch of handcrafted warmth to the simple frame.

The foot rest comes in stainless steel or antique brass, so the stool can lean modern and bright or warm and vintage. Compact and light on the eye, the Tatum fits neatly along counters and bar rails, tucks fully under the overhang when not in use, and works in cafes, wine bars and hotel lobby bars where a lighter look is wanted. Built for commercial use

The Tatum's solid wood frame is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, natural ash, antiqued ash and American walnut. Note: this stool is not available in European beech.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
