Canon Stool with Wood Seat

The Canon Stool with Wood Seat pairs a lean steel frame with a round solid wood seat. Four slender legs splay gently toward the floor and are tied together by a circular footrest ring, and the warm wood seat on top softens the industrial frame.

The contrast of wood and powder-coated steel gives the Canon a crafted, modern look that suits cafes, taprooms and bars. It comes in three heights, bar, counter and dining, so one design can carry through a whole space, from the bar rail to low tables. Choose the steel finish from our full powder coat and premium range or a custom color, and the seat from walnut, oak, beech, ash or teak finishes.

Built for commercial use

The Canon's steel frame is welded rather than bolted for long-term strength. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): our Color Finish Series of matte and gloss powder coats, the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal, brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood seat (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, European beech, ash, antiqued ash, medium brown stained ash, ash in chestnut brown or brushed antique cherry, and American walnut.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
