Floyd Stool

The Floyd Stool brings the clean, schoolhouse-inspired look of the Floyd family up to bar and counter height. A slim powder-coated steel frame with four straight legs and a perimeter footrest supports a molded wood veneer seat and a curved veneer back panel, so the stool feels light and open along a bar run.

The warm wood against dark metal suits taprooms, hotel bars, cafes and restaurant counters, and the wipe-clean veneer surfaces stand up well to busy service. The Floyd Stool comes in bar and counter heights and coordinates with the Floyd Arm Chair and the upholstered Floyd pieces for a consistent look across dining and bar areas.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted. The Floyd Stool is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and ships fully assembled from the factory. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer (Wood Option D, not available in European beech): North American ash, stained ash (light or dark walnut stain), black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Metal (Metal Finish B): matte powder coats including white, warm gray, silver gray, orange, dark gray (sand finish), black and army green.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
