Lola Chair

The Lola Chair is a refined dining side chair with a slim steel frame, an upholstered seat and a curved solid wood back. The wood back is shaped as a wide, gently arched crest rail, set atop thin metal supports, and the four slender legs splay slightly for a light, graceful stance. It is a chair that looks crafted and modern at the same time.

Shown with a warm wood back, a bronze-toned frame and a cream seat, the Lola feels elegant in a hotel restaurant or wine bar; with black metal and darker upholstery, it reads crisp and contemporary. Its compact 19.25" width makes it easy to fit at tight two-tops without giving up comfort.

Built for commercial use

The Lola has a welded steel frame rather than bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish Option A): a wide palette of powder coat colors from the Color Finish Series in matte or gloss, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper and rust patina. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): American walnut, oak, European beech, teak (unfinished or oiled), natural ash, and ash in chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry, antiqued and medium brown stains.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a range of faux leathers in warm browns, blacks, greys, blues and teals, including vintage and deluxe textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage required. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more detail.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
