Ronix Chair

The Ronix Chair is a crisp, architectural side chair that pairs a steel frame with a solid wood seat and back. Flat steel uprights rise from the rear legs and wrap around the edges of a wide, slightly curved wood backrest, while the seat rests on a tubular steel base with straight, slender legs. The look is honest and modern, with the frame and the wood each given room to show.

Shown in a pale natural wood on a soft aqua powder coated frame, the Ronix can be playful or understated depending on the colors you choose. Specify the frame in a broad palette of powder coat colors or a custom color, and pick from a range of hardwoods and stains for the seat and back to suit cafes, casual restaurants and breakout spaces.

Built for commercial use

The Ronix has a welded steel frame rather than a bolted one, so it stays tight and quiet through daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish A): a broad palette of powder coat colors from the Color Finish Series, metal finishes such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and premium finishes including antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze and rust patina. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Finish A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, American walnut, European beech, and ash in natural, antiqued, chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry and medium brown stains.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
