Ashley Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Ashley Chair with Upholstered Seat is a classic schoolhouse-style dining chair in solid European beech. Five vertical slats rise to a gently curved, shaped top rail, framed by two tall rear posts, and stretchers tie the legs together on every side. A padded upholstered seat adds comfort to the traditional profile.

It is the kind of dependable, familiar chair that suits a neighborhood restaurant, a pub, a diner or a hotel breakfast room, and it looks right in warm cherry and walnut stains or in a darker mahogany or ebony. It is in stock in our quick ship program, and a wood seat version is also available.

Built for commercial use

The frame is solid European beech with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option C): a wide range of commercial faux leathers across our Classic, Jackson and Glaze series, from neutrals and browns to deep reds, greens and blues.

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
