Bow Chair

The Bow Chair is a solid wood arm chair with a graceful, sculptural outline. A single curved top rail sweeps around the back and forward to form the arms, supported by a Y-shaped back splat at the center and by the rear legs, which rise and taper to meet it. The result is an open, airy chair with a strong handcrafted character that brings warmth to a dining room without visual bulk.

An upholstered seat adds comfort and a chance to introduce color or texture in leather, faux leather or fabric. Built for commercial use

The Bow Chair is built from solid wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a broad palette of standard and deluxe faux leathers.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds in neutrals and saturated colors.

COM/COL: accepted (minimums may apply).

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
