Cardiff Side Chair

The Cardiff Side Chair pairs a slim aluminum frame with horizontal synthetic wood slats on the seat and back for the look of a teak patio chair with none of the maintenance. The armless frame is crisp and rectilinear, with a slightly reclined slatted back and straight legs braced by low stretchers.

Synthetic slats will not splinter or need oiling, and the light aluminum frame makes it easy for staff to reset and stack a patio. The armless design fits more seats around tables, and six frame and slat combinations, including an all-black version, let you match a coastal, rooftop or urban setting. Coordinating Cardiff arm chairs and bar stools are available, all in our quick ship outdoor program.

Built for commercial use

The Cardiff frame is welded aluminum, not bolted, and the synthetic wood slats give the look of timber without the maintenance, so the piece is ready for outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It stacks for storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
