The Helm Stool is a sturdy, no-nonsense backless stool built around a steel frame and a solid wood seat. Squared steel legs flare slightly toward the floor and are tied together by a full perimeter foot rail, and a square solid wood seat sits on top like a butcher block. It has the honest, workshop feel that suits industrial interiors, taprooms and casual bars.
Because it is backless, the Helm tucks fully under a bar or counter overhang, which keeps aisles clear and makes it a good fit for tight bar runs, chef's counters and high-top tables. The solid wood seat wears in gracefully over years of service, and the powder-coated frame can be finished in a standard color, a metal finish or a custom powder coat to match your room. The Helm comes in bar and counter heights.
The Helm's steel frame is welded, not bolted. It is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and ships fully assembled from the factory. Each stool carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
