Jasper Upholstered Chair

The Jasper Upholstered Chair gives the clean, modern Jasper silhouette a softer, more tailored finish. A padded, upholstered back panel sits between the rear posts above a fully upholstered seat, and the solid and veneer wood frame is tied together with stretchers for a sturdy, architectural base.

The upholstery adds comfort for longer meals and lets you bring color and texture into the room, while the exposed wood frame keeps the chair light and approachable. Specify the frame in walnut, white oak, ash or beech finishes and upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM. At 19.25" wide, it fits comfortably at standard dining tables in restaurants, hotel dining rooms and clubs. It is part of our Coastal & Rooftop Collection and coordinates with the Jasper Chair and the Jasper Upholstered Stool.

Built for commercial use

Wood should not be used outdoors, so on rooftops and terraces plan the Jasper for covered or indoor areas. The solid wood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light walnut stain, ashwood with dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic neutrals and rich browns to distressed finishes and saturated colors.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): an extensive range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from black, white and grays to warm browns, greens, blues and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of woven fabrics and tweeds, with many performance options rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM/COL: customer's own material or leather is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
