Parisian Side Chair

The Parisian Side Chair blends French bistro charm with an airy, modern wire frame. Slender steel rods form the legs and rise into an open, arched back with a fan of curved spokes, while a solid teak slatted seat adds warm, natural texture at the center. The contrast of fine metal lines and honey-toned wood makes it light, graceful and instantly recognizable.

Shown in a white frame, the Parisian can be powder coated in a wide range of colors and metallic premium finishes, and its teak seat is rated for outdoor use, so it moves easily from sidewalk cafe to garden patio to indoor dining room. It also stacks, which is a real advantage for patios that are cleared nightly and for event spaces that reset often.

Built for commercial use

The Parisian's steel frame is welded, not bolted, and its solid teak seat is suited to outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. The chair stacks for storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of Color Finish Series powder coats, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, ash, antiqued ash and American walnut. For outdoor installations, specify teak.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
