Pearce Stool

The Pearce Stool is a backless bar stool with a simple, timeless shape: a thick, round upholstered seat set on four slender, gently splayed legs of solid European beech, tied together by a round metal footrest ring. It is the kind of stool that disappears into a well-designed bar, adding warmth and comfort without competing with the room.

The Pearce is offered in beech with a walnut stain only, a rich, versatile tone that works with everything from dark stone counters to light millwork. The padded seat comes in our Faux Leather Option C range or your own material, and the backless form tucks neatly under a bar top to keep walkways clear. It is a practical, good-looking workhorse for restaurant bars, hotel lounges and high-top sections.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Pearce is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays solid through years of daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Upholstery (Faux Leather Option C): an extensive range of commercial faux leathers in classic, textured and glazed finishes, covering neutrals, earth tones, deep reds and blues and bright accent colors. COM is also accepted (minimums may apply).

For commercial use we recommend upholstery rated at 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage for your material. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
