The Stockton Stool is an industrial-style steel stool with an adjustable seat. A round steel seat sits atop a central threaded post, and four legs curve outward from a collar beneath it before dropping straight to the floor, tied together by a square footrest ring. The look recalls vintage machine-shop and drafting stools, giving bars and counters a rugged, utilitarian character.
The adjustable seat lets guests fine-tune their height, and the compact 14" footprint fits tight bar runs and counters. It comes in bar and counter heights and in a wide range of powder coat finishes, from the soft metallic gray shown in the photo to gunmetal, rust patina and bold colors. It is part of our Alpine Lodge Collection, and a version with a solid wood seat is available as the Stockton Stool with Wood Seat.
The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
