Stella Stool with Wood Seat

The Stella Stool with Wood Seat pairs the backless industrial bistro frame with a solid wood seat. Four formed steel legs taper as they rise, footrest rails connect them, and a thick square wood seat caps the frame, adding warmth and a crafted feel. In the photo, a light natural seat sits on a metallic gray frame, a combination that suits both modern and rustic interiors.

The wood seat is warmer and more comfortable to the touch than bare steel, and the backless design slides fully under a bar or counter overhang to keep aisles clear. It comes in bar and counter heights and stacks for storage and fast resets. Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It stacks, and ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad palette that includes the Color Finish Series (matte or gloss solids such as black, white, charcoal, red, midnight blue, olive green and aqua, plus colors like warm gray, shadow blue, peacock and seafoam), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes (antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze, rust patina and matte red rust). Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), American walnut, oak, European beech, and ash in natural, medium brown, chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry and antiqued finishes.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
