Stringer Aluminum Chair – 300 Series

The Stringer Aluminum Chair - 300 Series is a classic slat-back side chair in lightweight aluminum. Round tubular legs rise into back posts that frame a gently curved back with vertical slats, and a sculpted, slightly dished seat sits on a ring of stretchers. The silhouette has a timeless, military-heritage character that feels at home everywhere from a diner to a waterfront patio.

Because the frame is aluminum, the Stringer is light enough for staff to move easily and can be used outdoors as well as inside. Choose a powder coat color from our Color Finish Series, from crisp white, as shown in the photo, to bold reds and blues, or a brushed anodized clear finish for a natural metal look. It is part of our Alpine Lodge Collection and coordinates with the Stringer Stool - 300 Series for bar and counter seating.

Built for commercial use

The aluminum frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Aluminum is lightweight and can be used outdoors as well as indoors. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Color Finish Series: powder coat colors in matte or gloss, including black, white, charcoal, red, orange, yellow, midnight blue, light blue, aqua, mint, green and olive green, plus shades like warm gray, shadow blue, peacock, seafoam, steel blue, bay green and brick red.

Brushed Anodized: a brushed, clear anodized aluminum finish for a bright, natural metal look.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
