The Braxton Bar Stool is a compact, backless stool with a crisp, square profile. A padded square seat sits on four straight solid wood legs joined by a full set of stretchers, and a brushed stainless foot rest detail protects the front rail where guests rest their feet. An optional brushed brass detail lets you dress it up for a cocktail lounge or steakhouse bar.
Because it is backless and only about 14" square, the Braxton tucks fully under the bar top and keeps sightlines open, a smart choice for tight bar runs, kitchen counters and high-top tables. Choose our American walnut, white oak, ash or European beech finishes, with leather, faux leather, fabric or COM for the seat. It comes in bar and counter heights.
The Braxton is built from solid wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.

Its small footprint allows tighter spacing than most stools, though about 24" per guest keeps a bar comfortable. See our bar stool spacing guide and bar vs. counter stool height guide.
Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light or dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.
Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers.
Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a broad palette of standard and deluxe faux leathers.
Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds.
COM/COL: accepted.
For commercial seating we recommend specifying 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the yardage. See our upholstery double rubs guide.
