Grafton Stool

The Grafton Stool brings our classic mid-century wire chair up to bar and counter height. A welded steel wire grid forms the curved seat and back, and a slim rod base with an integrated footrest carries it at the right height for the bar. The open mesh shell keeps the stool visually light, so a long run of Graftons still feels airy and uncluttered.

The Grafton is offered in polished stainless steel or powder coated steel, with an optional attached upholstered seat cushion in leather or fabric for added comfort. It coordinates with the Grafton chairs, so dining and bar areas can share one consistent look.

Built for commercial use

The frame is welded, not bolted, for a rigid, durable stool. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery on the optional seat cushion meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame: polished stainless steel or powder coated steel.

Optional seat cushion: Leather Option A (a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers) or Fabric Option A (commercial fabrics, tweeds and textures in many colors).

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
