Jane Stool

The Jane Stool carries the Jane Chair's sculpted, mid-century inspired shell to bar and counter height. A tall upholstered shell wraps from seat to back in one smooth curve, set on a solid wood base with splayed legs and a foot rest finished with a brushed stainless cover. Brushed brass is also available for a warmer accent.

A steel frame and injection foam seat keep the shell supportive and crisp-edged, so the stool looks as good on the last night of service as on the first. Upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM and choose from walnut, white oak, ash and beech finishes for the base. It is part of our Steakhouse and Lobby & Lounge Collections and pairs with the Jane Chair in the dining room for a consistent look from bar to table.

Built for commercial use

The Jane Stool pairs a steel frame with a solid wood base and a metal-capped foot rest that stands up to constant scuffing. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light walnut stain, ashwood with dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic neutrals and rich browns to distressed finishes and saturated colors.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): an extensive range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from black, white and grays to warm browns, greens, blues and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of woven fabrics and tweeds, with many performance options rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM/COL: customer's own material or leather is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
