Jonathan Stool

The Jonathan Stool carries the Jonathan Chair's tailored look to bar and counter height. A padded, upholstered back panel rises from a fully upholstered seat, and the solid wood frame stands on slim, straight legs joined by stretchers that double as a foot rest.

It is a comfortable, versatile stool for restaurant bars, hotel lounges, steakhouses and lodge-style bars, and its simple lines let the upholstery color or texture do the talking. Choose bar or counter height, specify the frame in walnut, white oak, ash or beech finishes, and upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM. It is part of our Steakhouse and Alpine Lodge Collections and pairs with the Jonathan Chair in the dining room.

Built for commercial use

The solid wood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.
