Laverno Stool with Bolt Down Base

The Laverno Stool with Bolt Down Base takes the retro Laverno design and anchors it to the floor. A thick round upholstered seat swivels atop a steel pedestal column, a curved upholstered back pad sits on a slender offset support, and a round foot ring gives guests a place to rest their feet, recalling classic diner counters with a cleaner, more refined finish.

Bolted stools stay exactly where you put them, which keeps long bar and counter runs perfectly aligned and frees up floor space for staff and guests. It is offered at bar, counter and ADA heights, and the metal finish and upholstery can be tuned from bright and playful (shown in white with green) to warm and classic.

Built for commercial use

The Laverno has a welded steel frame. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. The swivel seat has an auto-return. These stools must be bolted to the floor and are not intended to be used freestanding; please consult a licensed contractor for installation. Hardware to bolt the stools to the floor is not included. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish Option A): a wide palette of powder coat colors from the Color Finish Series in matte or gloss, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper and rust patina.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a range of faux leathers in warm browns, blacks, greys, blues and teals, including vintage and deluxe textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in sand, rust, blues, teal, fern green, black and goldenrod, plus performance fabrics rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage required. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more detail.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
